THE PRIESTLY ANOINTING

Aaron and his sons were of the Levitical priesthood of that day and they were chosen by GOD-YAHVEH to minister unto HIM and to bring forgiveness to the people for their sins. They had to be covered in holy garments. Exodus 39:1 Even though this way is no longer practiced it is still important, like All of the WORD OF GOD is, because HE teaches us many things from All OF HIS WORD. HIS WORD will never be outdated; it’s a blueprint for our lives today.

We have a new High Priest who has passed through the heavens and sits at the right hand of GOD, JESUS-YESHUA THE SON OF GOD. HE is our High Priest who can sympathize with our weaknesses for HE was tempted in all areas as we are, yet without sin. We as believers in CHRIST can come boldly to the throne of GOD, and we can obtain mercy and forgiveness. Hebrews 4:16

HE has given us the role as priests for HE said we are a royal priesthood. Rev. 1:5 and I Peter 2:9

Just like in the days of old there were good priests and bad priests, today is no different. Even though we don’t have to dress in a certain fashion, today as true believers, JESUS is our covering our garment. We must allow HIM to transform us by the washing of HIS WORD over us, so it can transform us by the presence and power of the HOLY SPIRIT. For as our old nature is passed away the new nature of CHRIST in us is created in righteousness and true holiness. For it’s the HOLY SPIRIT who births the new life of CHRIST in our hearts and helps bring the change from the inside of us in order to obtain the character of CHRIST in us. Ephesians 4:23

But we as Believers have a choice to be a Godly priest or a wicked one. When we have the heart of a faithful priest we will then have GODS blessing upon us. Let us not be as Eli’s 2 wicked sons (I Samuel 2:12-17, 22). GOD has a standard of righteousness and we must follow it. As believers we can’t just do what we want and think GOD is going to bless it, or ignore it. We will all be judged by GOD and those in leadership will be held to a higher standard. It’s time to confront the sin in our lives and get rid of it, we need to repent and get right with GOD and each other including our Jewish brother and sisters, for True Christianity comes from the Jewish Hebraic roots. The two can’t be separated if we are truly Believers of CHRIST.

We must keep ourselves pure, clean from all of the defilements of the sinful things in the world and it’s systems including the man made religious deceptions. We can no longer be a people of mixture, mixing the holy with the profane or the common. We need to live our lives set apart, living Holy to our GOD, as Godly Priests, for HE has given us a priestly call and we need to walk in it HIS way.

May you be found in right standing with GOD-YAHVEH and may HIS FAVOR AND BLESSING be upon you HIS priest. Live each day for HIM the best you can and seek after HIS Heart, find good fellowship with other believers who live HIS WORD.
