INTO MY ARMS 9/11 2001

As soon as the reality of what happened on 9-11 2001 penetrated my heart, I said, “LORD is there anything we can do to help bring comfort to your people in New York? I felt or sensed to do a painting that would bring comfort to those traumatized and devastated on this day.

I prayed and felt to put in the Twin Towers along with the 3 main groups of people who gave up their lives to save others; they were the Firemen, the Policemen and the Military. But most important JESUS was in the midst of all the horror to show that HE was there right on the scene as always and that not one soul was miscounted for. I felt to show that HE was there to receive those unto HIMSELF who lost their lives that day. How many made it into eternity I do not know only GOD knows. The flag on HIS shoulders symbolizes that “the government, supreme authority is upon HIS shoulders” Isaiah 9:6 HIS heart that is bleeding shows how HE truly does feel our pain and sorrow, HE is alive, HE IS LORD and HE cares and feels for us. I felt to put in our United States Flag which represents how as citizens of the United States we will stand as brothers and sisters united to always pull together to help one another out in times of need.

I had talked with Pastor Rev. Sondra Berry Young (www.SondraBerryyoung.org) on the phone and told her what I was doing and she wanted a copy right away so we sent her one and she put it on her news letter. She felt The Lord wanted her to go there as soon as she could get the money to fly there, and she spent months there helping, praying for people, comforting the hurting, evangelizing and being the feet of JESUS for us who could not go. Sondra asked if we could send some prints to her, so we sent 2,500 free prints that Sondra passed out at ground zero. Our hearts and prayers are that the victim’s families of this tragedy will find comfort and healing in their hearts and lives. We don’t know who all received a picture, we just pray, hope and believe that those who did found some comfort in them. We love you New York and we pray GOD will bring HIS healing touch and restore that which our enemy has stolen from us.

” Praise be to the GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the FATHER of compassion and the GOD of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from GOD. For just as the sufferings of CHRIST flow over into our lives, so also through CHRIST our comfort overflows.”

None of us knows the day or hour that we will be called from this earth, but we can know where we are going when we do get called. There is a Heaven and a hell. There is only ONE way to the FATHER and that is through HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. Call out to HIM while you still can and believe in HIM, and be saved while you still can.
