RELEASING THE 5 FOLD
(EPHESIANS 4:11-16)

This painting represents the 5 fold ministry gifts, a job description within the Church
“ It was HE JESUS who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare GODS people for works of service, so that the Body of CHRIST may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the SON of GOD and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of CHRIST. Then we will no longer be infants tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the TRUTH in love, we will in all things grow up into HIM who is the Head, which is CHRIST. From HIM the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” Ephesians 4:11-16

There are Apostles, & Prophets today along with Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, there will be until JESUS returns. We need all of the 5 fold Ministry gifts in operations today to fulfill the Call of GOD. Each one of these is vital, and they each have a specific purpose. We can’t choose which one we want to have. Not everyone is called into the 5 fold Ministry within the 4 walls of the Church, this doesn’t mean we’re not important, it means we are chosen to be a minister somewhere else. We maybe called to be a stay home mom, a Doctor, a lawyer, a computer specialist, a custodian, a construction worker etc.., this means we minister within our work place and this is just as important to GOD. GOD NEEDS US ALL TO FULFILL HIS CALL. We can’t all be the same thing; we need the different jobs and careers to keep the world going. Every Believer has a ministry to do, it may not be in the Church, it maybe out side the Church in the workplace.

To me, I believe “THE GREATEST JOB IS”, “THE ONE GOD CALLED –“ YOU” TO FULLFILL, AND DOING IT TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY.” YOU SEE IT’S ABOUT OUR OBEDIENCE AND FAITHFULNESS TO GOD.

“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with GODS people and members of GODS household, built on the foundations of the apostles and prophets, with CHRIST JESUS HIMSELF as the Chief cornerstone. In HIM the whole building is joined together and rises to become a Holy Temple in the LORD. And in HIM you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which GOD lives by HIS SPIRIT. Ephesians 2:19-22

I felt to paint 5 children using different nationalities that represent the 5 fold Ministry gifts. Because JESUS loves all people of every tribe and every race I felt to do different Nationalities. I painted children because Children represent the purity, the honesty the total trust towards their adult authority. Children have such a pureness of heart, and they believe, trust so openly and I believe in this hour GOD is wanting to raise the younger children, the youth and that the adults, are to all work together. But we need to raise up, teach, train up, the children, the youth in this hour so they can be what GOD is calling them to be.

The little Afro-American boy leaning over looking and making sure everything is running smoothly represents the APOSTLES. The Native American girl who is writing down the visions and words represents the PROPHETS. The little Hispanic boy sitting with the sheep, is Speaking out, and he represents the EVANGELISTS. The little white girl holding the lamb represents the PASTORS. The little Asian girl sitting down with the Word of GOD represents the TEACHERS.

JESUS is standing with a little lamb that had been wounded, and HE has just tended to and mended its wounds and HE is carrying it because at times we need to picked up, taken into our Lords arms and have HIM mend our brokenness and carry us until we are strong enough to walk along side HIM again. HE is saying to you, in sign language “I love you”. The sheep with HIM are those that belong to HIM, they know HIS voice, and they follow HIM. The ones in the background represent those who have not yet heard the Gospel and need to still come into HIS fold.

The goats on the left of JESUS show how HE has separated them from the sheep. There are sheep across the way that are not HIS they are the wild sheep, they are the rebellious, religious, the proud, and those who do not want to know HIM.

The shadow that JESUS casts is one of the Cross. For there is no other way to the FATHER (GOD) except through JESUS and what HE has done for us, no words can explain. Our life leads back to the death HE died on the Cross.

The Church today is being re shaped, changed by the SPIRIT OF GOD. If we want to be apart of this change then we need to be open to change. There are forerunners being trained and taught by the SPIRIT OF GOD who are going to make a way for the rest who want to be a part of what GOD is calling us to do in this hour. We don’t have time anymore to play around with sin and do our own thing anymore.

Let us hear what the SPIRIT OF GOD is saying in this hour. Let’s do our part that we are called to. If we are not called to the 5 fold Ministry it doesn’t mean we are not important, it means we have other purposes, ministries, and jobs to do for the LORD. Your place of work is your ministry, pray for them, be GODS Light in their darkness.
Be and do what GOD created you for.
